On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, take a scenic drive to Gangtok (5412 Ft, 5Hrs from Bagdora Airport). Check-in and spend the night at the hotel.
Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft, 3Hrs from Gangtok) and Baba Mandir (13100Ft, 1Hr from Tshangu Lake). The cool water of Tshangu Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around.
Drive back to Gangtok for the night.
You can opt for Nathula Excursion by paying a supplement cost which varies from month to month. Organising the permit in the last moment is not possible, and a clear window of 72Hrs with proper documents is required to process the permit. Nathula permit gets confirmed a day prior or on the day of journey and is subjected to permit availability as it is allotted as per turn. Nathula is closed on Monday and Tuesday for tourists.
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Bagdogra airport. Take a flight from Bagdora to Aizawl via Kolkatta. On arrival at Aizawl Airport, transfer to the hotel.
Aizawl is the scenic capital of Mizoram. It is also a religious and cultural centre for the Mizos. The town is blessed with exotic natural beauty and is famous for its handicrafts. It is an ideal hill station for tourists looking for solitude and clean air. You have the evening free to visit the local market.
Spend the night in Aizawl.
Today, a city tour of Aizawl is planned. The tour will include a visit to the state museum situated at Mc Donald Hill in the town center. Though small, it has an interesting collection of historical relics, ancient costumes and traditional implements. You will also visit Bara Bazar, which is the main shopping center, the Big Drum of Aizawl and the Model Village at Falkawn.
Drive back to your hotel for the night.
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Aizawl airport to take the flight to Imphal. On arrival, check-in at hotel. After lunch, visit the Kangla fort and Ima Market. The Kangla fort is situated on both sides (Western and Eastern) of the bank of River Imphal. What remains of the old fort are only its ruins. The fort was the traditional seat of the Meitei rulers of Manipur.
After the tour, transfer back to the hotel to spend the night.
Today, take a city tour of Imphal. Sites covered are Govindajee Temple, Loktak lake, largest fresh water lake in North East India, the INA Memorial, where the Indian tri-color was first hoisted here by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army, the Japanese War Memorial and Sadu Chiru waterfalls.
Spend the night Imphal.
After breakfast, check-out and drive to Kohima (140 Kms, 05 hrs from Imphal). Enroute, visit the heritage village, a model village for all the major tribes of Nagaland. On arrival check-in at the hotel and spend the night in Kohima.
Visit Khonoma, an an Angami Naga Village (20 km, 1 hr from Kohima) famous for its valour and fiercely independent mindset. Drive back to Kohima for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the World War II cemetery and the Kohima Cathedral.
Spend the night in Kohima.
After breakfast, transfer to the Dimapur airport to take the flight back home.
